Short Month. High Expectations.

February may be the shortest month of the year, but it rarely feels like it. Audits, recruitment drives, system launches, new sites, new faces — momentum has been building across every division. Through it all, certain individuals stood out not because they were loud, but because they were steady, capable and ready when it counted.

Employee of the Month recognises colleagues whose actions strengthen the organisation in real, practical ways. February’s winners represent diligence under pressure, creativity in development, and confidence outside the comfort zone.

🏆 Official Controls Winner – Anil Yalcikli

Official Veterinarian

Audits require careful oversight and clear coordination between all parties involved. During the recent audit at the plant where he serves as OV, Anil demonstrated strong diligence and professionalism.

He maintained operational oversight while supporting effective communication between the competent authority and the FBO, helping ensure that issues identified were addressed and corrective actions progressed appropriately.

🏆 Imports / Exports / Head Office Winner – Ellie Dunnell-Luff

Talent Acquisition Specialist

Ellie is often the first voice new starters hear — and increasingly, she is helping shape what they see next.

In February, she channelled her creativity and systems focus into the development of the Company’s new intranet, creating the design theme and collaborating with HR to build key management content. At the same time, she played an active role in shaping the new companywide LMS platform — refining the theme, finalising training content and helping prepare the system for launch two weeks ahead of schedule.

Her work this month centred on clarity, efficiency and communication — strengthening not just recruitment, but the entire employee journey.

🏆 MLC Winner – Daniel Patterson

CSO3 – MLC Division

At MLC, adaptability is part of the job. In February, Daniel was asked to provide cover at a Lancashire plant he had never visited before. New site, new team, new expectations.

He approached the challenge with confidence and professionalism, making a strong impression at Colne and delivering excellent service throughout. Eight months into his role, Daniel is already demonstrating the customer focus and team spirit we value — showing that stepping outside your comfort zone is often where growth happens.

February in Focus

Different divisions. Different challenges. One common theme: commitment.

Anil, Ellie and Daniel reflect the practical excellence that underpins our work every day. Their contributions this month have strengthened compliance, improved systems and supported service delivery across the Group.

We are pleased to recognise their efforts — and proud of the standards they continue to set.
