Healthy Animals • Safe Food • Responsible Operations • Lower Carbon Future

At HallMark Veterinary & Compliance Services, sustainability is an integral part of how we operate and deliver our services.

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact while continuing to provide high-quality veterinary, food safety and compliance services across the UK. Our approach focuses on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving energy and resource efficiency, supporting lower-carbon travel, minimising waste, making responsible procurement decisions and using digital technology to reduce unnecessary travel and resource consumption.

We are committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, with Carbon Neutrality by 2030 as an interim milestone on our journey towards Net Zero.

We measure and monitor our environmental performance and continue to identify opportunities to reduce emissions across our operations. Current measures include route optimisation, digital working and virtual meetings, our Electric Car Scheme, lower-carbon vehicles, energy and resource efficiency, waste reduction and recycling, and sustainable procurement.

Our environmental performance is monitored and reviewed as part of our management and continuous improvement arrangements.

Our Carbon Reduction Plans

HallMark Veterinary & Compliance Services operates through Hall Mark Meat Hygiene Limited and HallMark Official Controls Limited. Our Carbon Reduction Plans set out the greenhouse gas emissions, environmental management measures and carbon reduction commitments applicable to each legal entity.
