HallMark Summer Team Party in Cheltenham | WW3 Team Building 2026
On Saturday 15 August, around 39 colleagues from HallMark’s WW3 team and Head Office came together in Cheltenham for our Summer Team Party, and there was certainly no shortage of competition, food or laughs.
The evening started at Roxy Lanes on Cheltenham High Street, where bowling balls, darts, pool cues and table tennis bats quickly brought out everyone’s competitive side.
Game On!
Ten Pin Bowling got things started before colleagues split into groups to take on Tech Darts, American Pool and Table Tennis.
There was plenty of friendly rivalry, some questionable technique and lots of encouragement from the sidelines. More importantly, it gave everyone the opportunity to mix, relax and spend time with colleagues outside their usual working environment.
With people working across different roles and locations, we do not always get enough opportunities to properly catch up. Some colleagues work together regularly, while others may only speak by phone, email or Teams. Bringing everyone together gave people the chance to put faces to names, meet colleagues they might not normally work alongside and strengthen connections across WW3 and Head Office.
Pizza, Chicken and Time to Catch Up
Of course, all that competition required some refuelling.
Pizzas, chicken, chips and a selection of other food were served alongside drinks throughout the evening, giving everyone time between games to sit together, chat and enjoy the atmosphere.
Around 39 of us were able to attend, which made for a fantastic turnout. We certainly missed colleagues who were away enjoying their summer holidays, but it was great to see so many familiar faces together in one place.
And We Weren’t Finished Yet...
Once the games were over, some of the team continued the evening at Gin & Juice in Cheltenham.
The good summer weather meant we could make the most of the lively terrace, with cocktails, music and a live DJ adding to the atmosphere. It was a great setting to carry on the conversations, enjoy a few more laughs and spend more time together before eventually calling it a night.
Stronger Teams Beyond the Workplace
The Summer Team Party was great fun, but there was also a real team building benefit behind the bowling, table tennis, pizzas and cocktails.
Spending time together outside work allows conversations to happen more naturally. It gives colleagues the opportunity to get to know each other better, share experiences and build relationships that can make communication and teamwork stronger when everyone returns to work.
Following our recent Lincolnshire E1 picnic, it has certainly been a sociable summer at HallMark!
These events are about more than simply having a good time. They create opportunities for colleagues from different teams and locations to connect, strengthen relationships and enjoy being part of the wider HallMark team.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success. We also missed those who were away enjoying well deserved summer holidays and hope to see you at the next one.
Nearly 40 HallMark people, many different games, plenty of food, a few cocktails and one very good Saturday night in Cheltenham.
