Putting Others First: Meet Our September Winners

At Vorenta, our people are at the heart of everything we do. Each month, our Employee of the Month programme recognises outstanding contributions from colleagues across the group. Each quarter, we also celebrate one colleague as Teammate of the Quarter.

This month, we are delighted to announce three winners who have shown what it means to put others first.

Teammate of the Quarter, Q3 2026

Teammate of the Quarter is the highest peer recognition in our programme, and it begins with the people who know the winner best: their colleagues. Nominations come from across the company and are reviewed by Heads of Office, Senior Veterinary Managers and Operations Managers. The award goes to someone who has gone above and beyond, been an outstanding team player and embodied at least one of our values.

This quarter, we are proud to celebrate Victoria Ghedin, Meat Hygiene Inspector at HallMark Official Controls.

Victoria consistently goes above and beyond to enable service delivery for our clients and keep satisfaction levels high. Her nomination describes a colleague who puts the needs of others before her own. At a critical moment, she recognised that she could resolve an important issue, and did so while supporting senior management to carry out their duties without disruption.

She has also shown the true value of collaboration, working effectively in unfamiliar environments to help deliver official controls. In the words of her nomination, she “should be proud of her act of kindness to help at a critical moment.”

Victoria, congratulations, and thank you for showing what being a teammate really means.

Employee of the Month, September 2026

Official Controls: Maria Guterres, Meat Hygiene Inspector

Maria is recognised for her willingness to go the extra mile. Her nomination highlights that she is available for every emergency and always ready to support her colleagues. Her positive attitude inspires those around her, and she embodies our values of collaboration and integrity in everything she does.

Head Office: Chelsie Richardson, HR Assistant

Chelsie stepped in to support her team during a period of absence, helping us keep our commitment to our client and maintain service and engagement levels throughout. Her nomination notes that she took on a last-minute project on top of her day-to-day work “without hesitation”, ensuring the client was happy. As the nomination puts it, she is “always there to step in and help team members when needed.”

Thank you

Congratulations to Victoria, Maria and Chelsie, and thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate a colleague. Your dedication reflects the values that define our group.
